Austin Boot Camp For Men FAQs
What exercises are included in the program?
We do everything from weight training, ab/core conditioning, cross training, sports performance, speed drills, running, plyometrics, calisthenics, and more! Everyday is a little different from the day before and you will get a complete workout every week!
Exercises include: sandbag carries, push ups, squat thrusts, sprints, jump squats, lunges, crunches, tripod, 8 count bodybuilders and much more...
What if I'm not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Men of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity.
What do I need to bring?
You need to bring an exercise mat, one set of hand weights (8-12 lbs), running shoes, workout towel, a water bottle, and a sense of adventure. These items can be purchased at any local Target, Academy or any other sporting goods store.
What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each 3-week boot camp has a registration fee of $199. That's 12 hours of instruction -- which averages out to just $16.58 per hour. Personal trainers will typically charge $60 to $100 per hour for their services -- this is a great chance to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

What if there is not a camp near me?
We're always looking for locations and times that are convenient to our campers. We need at least 10 committed campers to open a location (site must not be close to an existing location). We base our locations solely on demand; so if you don't see it on the map, contact us and let us know where to put a new camp!
Please note that some sites may require additional work (i.e. paperwork, scheduling, staffing, etc) that must be completed before we can launch a new location. Unfortunately, we cannot open a camp overnight. We thank you in advance for your patience.
What is the sign-up process?
Complete the boot camp registration form on this site and submit it electronically. You will then be able to pay online with a credit card or you may mail a check. About a week prior to the start of camp, you will receive an email from your instructor with additional information about your camp.
What if my friend wants to come to camp with me for a day?
Great! We would love to have them join us! Just have your friend fill out the FREE class request form. Friends are welcome to pop in for a day and try out the program.
How many people are in each camp?
This number varies from 10-16.
What is a typical day like at boot camp?
We don't have typical days -- if you want the same routine day after day, then you would probably want to join a fitness center. You can expect a mixture of cardio exercises, running, weight-training, mat work, jumping rope, and sports-related games. Each day is designed to be fun and different, but never boring!
What if camp has already started?
If you are relatively fit and already involved in a workout program, we welcome you to join us after the camp start date. You will need to complete the registration form and then purchase the desired number of individual classes upon checkout. After you've completed this process, you may simply show up for camp. Just be sure to check in with the instructor before the class begins. If you have additional questions or need more information, please contact us.
If you are just starting a workout regimen, we suggest starting at the beginning of a session. Why? Well, at the start of each session we conduct an initial fitness evaluation to give you an idea of where you are at the beginning of camp. And as the weeks progress, the classes will become progressively more difficult as you get stronger. Then at the end of the session, we will conduct the final assessments to see how you have improved. Check our men's schedule for our next upcoming camp session.
